Tips & Best Practices
Close the Control Panel
The control panel will automatically close when recording starts, but you can manually close it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+YDefault shortcut - Customize if using a countdown timer.
Check Available Storage
Long recordings at high quality can use significant storage. Check your available space before starting lengthy recordings.
Test Your Audio
Before important recordings, do a quick test to ensure your microphone and tab audio are working correctly.
Use Start Delay
Set a countdown timer to give yourself time to hide the control panel and prepare your screen before recording begins.
Convert If Needed
Recordings are saved in WebM format. Use free tools like HandBrake, VLC, or online converters like CloudConvert to convert to MP4 or other formats if needed.
Know Your Rights
Always obtain consent before recording others. Be aware of local recording laws - some jurisdictions require all-party consent.
